A young girl, unable to speak since losing both of her parents, is jolted out of her grief when she discovers an immigrant mother and daughter hiding in her backyard and must decide what to do. The film is a moving tale of migration and human connection, told through the eyes of two eight-year-old girls.

YES was shot over a four-day period, with principal photography taking place at a 200-acre ranch in Castaic, CA.
