An award-winning screenwriter and film editor, Randi’s character driven stories often focus on misfits, rebels, and unexpected moments of beauty. Her feature screenplay, THE CHICKEN FESTIVAL, a Nicholl semifinalist, is in development. Her feature and television scripts have been honored by CineStory, The Writers Lab, Athena, Austin, The Grey List, Final Draft, and more. Recent editing projects include the feature documentary, HEAVEN STOOD STILL: THE INCARNATIONS OF WILLY DEVILLE, currently touring festivals and theaters worldwide and multi-award-winning films, LIVES WELL LIVED and TRUSTING CHLOE. Randi teaches Storytelling and Filmmaking at Cal Poly University, where she received the Learn by Doing Scholars Award in 2022. She attended the MFA Film Program at Columbia University School of the Arts and received her MFA in Screen and Television Writing from Stephens College.
Hollis Sherman-Pepe, a seasoned film writer-director-producer, boasts over fifteen years of industry experience marked by acclaim. Known for her diverse portfolio spanning various genres, Hollis thrives on the creative nuances inherent in filmmaking. With a passion for weaving intricate narratives, she finds the journey of creation as gratifying as the final product. Currently helming her debut feature-length film "Tenants of Carver Hill," she continues to challenge herself while expressing her artistic vision.
Curtis Yap grew up with visions of his Filipino grandfather fighting in WWII, insecurity with his Filipino and Mexican roots, and watching movies for comfort. He disappointed his parents by dropping out of an engineering program to study literature and film at UC Berkeley. He had an affinity for lighting and served as a cinematographer on a few senior thesis films.
Curtis aspires to own a cat, learn how to swim, fall in love, and become a competitive archer. And while he knows that films won’t solve society’s problems, they can at least bring about the possibility that anything can be solved.
Executive Producer
Jennie Lew Tugend has produced some of the industry’s most memorable franchises: FREE WILLY 1, 2, 3, LETHAL WEAPON 1, 2, 3, and HBO’s TALES FROM THE CRYPT. Tugend’s producer credits also include RADIO FLYER, SCROOGED, LOCAL BOYS, STAR KID, RETURN TO ME, ONE MISSED CALL, Showtime’s MASTER OF HORROR, and she was instrumental in the development and production of THE GOONIES and THE LOST BOYS. In 2020, Tugend Executive Produced the independent feature film ALBATROSS, directed by Myles Yaksich, and is currently in development on the feature film adaptation of New York Times best-selling novel, HOTEL ON THE CORNER OF BITTER AND SWEET.
Anish Saini was born and brought up in the suburbs of Mumbai. The city that taught him how to dream. He grew up watching films, which excited him and drew his attention more towards films and how they work. Anish graduated with a Bachelors of Mass Media (Advertising). During his 3 years of graduation he made short films for intercollegiate events. In 2018, he decided to take a step towards his dream of learning more about film making and moved to Los Angeles. Anish has been living in Los Angeles for four years now. He began pursuing his masters in fine arts in 2019. The past years, have helped him gain new experience in sets from being an Assistant Director to a Director.
2nd Assistant Director & Script Consultant
Denise is an Irish novelist and PAGE Award-winning screenwriter who tackles issues of loss and injustice through a prism of light and humour. Her comedy short about homelessness, THE INNKEEPER, is on the festival circuit, winning awards/honourable mentions at Canberra, This is England, SCHLiNGEL, Aesthetica and Foyle. Denise writes on Ireland’s longest running continuing drama, and has two TV series and three features in development with a range of Irish, UK and Finnish companies. A former nurse, medical and psychological storylines regularly bubble up in her work. Her novels have been published by Penguin Random House and Hachette, and translated into German and Dutch. She loves to collaborate.
Production Designer
Adele Maschi is a passionate Production Designer from Milano, Italy. She obtained her MFA in Film and TV Production at the University of Southern California in 2020 and has been freelancing in London and Los Angeles ever since. Her interest in film dates back to when she
was a child; she feels drawn to projects that have high entertainment value butat the same time challenge the audience to reflect on social issues.
Student Assistant & 2nd Assistant Camera
Sarai Devi Dasi is a filmmaker, writer, and visual artist with a passion for telling untold stories and bringing people together. Her work emphasizes how personal lived experiences tie into a greater emotional landscape in which we can all relate to. Sarai has experience working on multiple short films and music videos, and loves the collaborative atmosphere of being on set. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate studies at Cal Poly SLO, and will receive a BFA in Art and Design with a concentration in Photogragraphy and Videography in June 2024.
Script Supervisor
Rhett Bigler is a bit of a global nomad. He was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Then lived in Afghanistan, Ethiopia, England, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Germany. His experience living in different cultures led him to write about formed family in Sci-Fi popcorn films because of the complexity of issues you can address through a genre that allows you to be anywhere at any time. Rhett studied literature and fell into tech straight out of graduate school. He had a 20-year run at a Fortune 500 tech company and along the way got married, had a son, divorced, and raised his son, the experiences of which inform his grounded Sci-Fi father-son stories. He has published three novels and had screenplays place in the Austin Film Festival, ScreenCraft, and CineStory screenwriting competitions. Rhett currently lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Sound Mixer
Carlos Plummer began making short films at the young age of 8 with his brother, Kyle. As he grew older, he began to also grow to love the craft and art of filmmaking - refining and learning whatever he could. In High School, his efforts in documentary filmmaking earned him several student accolades at festivals across the country. While attending film school at Utah Tech University, Carlos began to hone his craft and acquire new skills in Assistant Directing and Sound Design (his degree emphasis) by working on several of the student films and extra-curricular projects.
Carlos currently works alongside his brother Kyle at SuperImage, Ltd and has plans to work abroad on short, feature and documentary films.
Boom Operator
Kyle Plummer is an award-winning independent filmmaker based in the beautiful Central Coast of California. Having worked on many short and feature length projects, Kyle has worn multiple hats, from cinematographer on an independent feature, to editor on award-winning short films, and more recently a colorist on a wide variety of projects. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication with an emphasis in Digital Film and has returned to the San Luis Obispo area to pursue independent production work in both film and video through a production company he runs with his brother, Carlos: SuperImage, Ltd.
Key Production Assistant
Richard Shay Lyon was born and raised on the central coast of California. He recently graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Media Studies, and is thrilled to be diving headfirst into the film and media industry. He has had the opportunity to work on a multitude of short films and other media projects, gaining experience in all aspects of filmmaking from pre to post-production. When he is not immersed in the world of film, you can find him either playing or listening to music, staying active, or exploring different corners of the globe
Composer
Emmy Award winning British composer Nicholas Pike is known for his innovative use of instruments and sounds to create music. His repertoire includes conducting the London Symphony Orchestra's recording of his suite based on Athol Fugard's play Master Harold and the Boys to scoring Michael Jackson's epic videos Ghost and You Rock My World. His work in film spans from Disney's Blank Check, Captain Ron and the animated The Prince and the Pauper, to the darker world of Warner Brothers' Fear Dot Com. In the documentary world he has scored HBO's Baghdad ER and In Tahrir Square - for which he won the 2013 Outstanding Music and Sound Emmy. Other documentaries include For The Love Of Spock and the Native American epic 100 Years for which he also composed and produced the Academy short listed song On Ghost Ridge, performed by Yuna.

Matt Keating has put out 11 critically acclaimed solo albums since 1993. He has written music extensively for television and film. His new band, Bastards of Fine Arts is currently working on their second album. Lucia Lopez
Assistant Production Designer
Lucia Lopez is from Madrid, Spain. Her passion for films and how they are made came from growing up watching films and dreaming of the worlds we are able to create through them. She received her bachelor’s in Audiovisual Communication back home. She moved to Los Angeles to study Acting, being able to gain experience both in front of and behind the camera. While in LA she also found her interest in the Production Design department, and has been expanding her knowledge and experience ever since.
